TrainingJunkie.com needed an intro for a series of different videos with different workout themes. The Training Junkie logo needed to transition to the title for each different video series.
A rebranding of MAE Agency, a global sports and entertainment agency specializing in the representation, marketing, and counseling of players and coaches in the world of professional soccer.
I was tasked with redesigning the popular NBA news and rumors site HoopsHype, into a fully responsive layout with an extra emphasis on rumors and "storylines," by far the most popular content on the site. A storyline is any collection of rumors tied together with a common theme that the user could follow over time.
We also visualized the hottest stories of the moment, to illustrate the ebb and flow of ever-changing free-agent and trade rumors across the league.
USA TODAY Sports and the American Football Coaches Association hosted a series of events throughout the 2015 season for the Amway Coaches Poll. The panel discussions featured legendary former coaches and coincided with big games at the University of Tennessee, University of Georgia, and USC, culminating in a final reveal event held at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, GA.
Signage, step and repeats, and print collateral were created for all of the events, including a reveal presentation and hallway video display at the Hall of Fame. The final reveal event was open to the public and live-streamed on usatoday.com.
The NBA partnered with Kaiser Permanente to host a Total Health Forum in Washington D.C. at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Speakers included Commissioner David Stern, Kaiser Permanente CEO Bernard Tyson, U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and many former NBA and WNBA players.
I worked with Sequence Events in building stage and signage renderings, signage, step and repeats, print collateral, presentation slides, and the overall look and feel of the event. I also created an animation that would show various health facts on projectors above the entrance to the auditorium throughout the forum.
College Football Fan Index is the only digital index that combines social media activity and fan voting to determine the ultimate college football fanbase.
It’s an in-depth ranking of the top fanbases as determined through social aggregation and online polling across weekly editorial themes such as best tailgates and best traditions. The index is then measured based on social activity of each school’s fanbase, including sharing photos and videos, as well as the voting results of the weekly polls asking fans to determine which schools offer the best experience.
Following the success of the College Football Fan Index, the same combination of social sharing and fan voting was used to determine which NASCAR drivers had the best fans.
Illustrations to accompany a long form piece for MMA Junkie about Corey Hill, an MMA fighter who suffered one of the most gruesome leg injuries seen in an MMA match. The story details how we able to overcome the psychological effects of suffering a catastrophic injury and continue his MMA career.
An infographic highlighting the fighting styles and strengths/weaknesses of each fighter for Weidman vs. Machia and Rousey vs. Davis. Both fights were part of the UFC 175 event and the graphics were featured in a special UFC 175 pullout section of USA TODAY.

NCAA Tournament bracket designed for mobile. Complete with live scoring and statistics, game previews, reviews, and photo galleries. In-depth player stats can be viewed by expanding the team box score. I also designed desktop and tablet versions.
With USA TODAY Sports Weekly offering a digital subscription of their weekly print issue, each week's cover would need to be converted to a digital version that made it easy to navigate through different features. A digital version of the table of contents was required as well.
